Remove the rubber seal in the cowl panel. It shall not be used again.

Applies to cars with already installed engine heater

Cut off the tie strap holding the cable joint inside the subframe.

Detach the cable from the clips in the subframe.

Remove the locking sleeve over the cable splice and separate the cables.
