PRODUCT MODIFICATION:
An improved manufacturing process of the power steering hoses was introduced at structure week 2010w10 (see chassis ranges above).
SERVICE:
If metal particles are found in the power steering oil then flush the complete steering system with new fresh oil AND replace the power steering pump
and reservoir according to VIDA. Flushing the system before replacing the pump will avoid repeat repairs. Follow the attachment for flushing.
