Seat Occupant Sensor: Component Tests and General Diagnostics

Seat Occupant Sensor Check

Check

Remove front seat Refer to: Front seat See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat 

Check the component for leaks.

Caution! Make sure that silicone waste is handled according to local regulations.

Caution! This step is only necessary in case the component leaks.

Perform weight sensor occupant, cleaning Refer to: Seat Occupant Sensor Cleaning See: Service and Repair/Procedures
