Remove:
-
the climate control system. See Climate unit, replacing See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and Repair/Climate
Unit, Replacing

the tie strap for the pipe
-
the mountings for the pipe
-
the screw for the heat exchanger.
Detach the pipes from the heat exchanger and drain off the coolant.
Remove the 3 screws for the central electrical unit for the fan housing.
Fold out and remove the central electrical unit.
Pull out the heat exchanger from the central electrical unit.
Installing the heat exchanger
Carefully position the heat exchanger in the central electrical unit.
Check that the seals are not leaking.
Screw the heat exchanger into place.
Install:
-
the seals for the central electrical unit on the fan housing. Screw into place
-
the pipes.
Note! Use new O-rings.
Hook the pipes into place.
Install:
-
the climate control system. See Climate unit, replacing See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and Repair/Climate
Unit, Replacing

the seals and the plate
-
the heating loops in the engine compartment.
Start the engine and the heating system.
