Take the thick extension cable, relay and locking sleeves from the kit

Lubricate the O-rings on the cable for the front engine block heater socket, relay and extension cable using low temperature grease.

Note! Do not get any grease on the surfaces of the connector.

Press the cable (1) from the front engine block heater socket and extension cable (2) into the relay.

Press the two locking sleeves (from the kit) over the cable splices

Take two tie straps (1) from the kit. Secure the electric cable with the ground lead at the cable splice with the electrical cable for the engine block
heater.
