Front Muffler Replacement

Front muffler replacement

Removal

Removing the muffler

Applies upon first replacement only:

Note! Suspend the front part of the exhaust pipe so that the catalytic converter is not loaded.

Cut the exhaust pipe between the front and rear muffler as described in Rear muffler, replacing See: Rear Muffler, Replacing.
Applies upon second (or higher) replacement:

Note! Suspend the front part of the exhaust pipe so that the catalytic converter is not loaded.

Remove:

-

the clamp with nuts between the front and rear muffler

-

the 2 nuts of the flange gasket

-

the muffler.
