Open circuit or short circuit to ground on the wire.

Faulty lamp unit.

Interior lighting does not work.

Checking components and wiring

Control module and rear reading lamp module

Check the cable between control module terminal #15 and rear reading lamp module terminal #2. Check for an open-circuit.
Check the cable between control module terminal #14 and rear reading lamp module terminal #6. Check for an open-circuit.

Control module and roof lamp module

Check the cable between the control module terminal #8 and roof lamp module terminal #2A. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to
ground.

Control module and right / left vanity mirror lighting

Check the cable between control module terminal #8 and right / left vanity mirror lighting terminal #1. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a
short-circuit to ground.
Check the cable between control module #20 and right / left vanity mirror lighting #3. Check for an open-circuit.
Remedy as necessary.
If no fault is found, try replacing the module that is malfunctioning.
This could be:

Rear reading lamp module

-

Roof lamp module

-

Right / left vanity mirror lighting.
