Steering Control Module: Service and Repair

Control module steering gear, replacing

Preparatory work

Ignition off.
Remove the soundproofing panel on the driver's side. See Soundproofing panel, replacing See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /
Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Soundproofing Panel, Replacing.

Hint: The control module for the steering gear is on the pedal box bracket. See the illustration.

Removal

Remove the control module for the steering gear.
Disconnect the connector.
