Bushing, brake pedal, replacing

Preparatory work

Remove the brake lamp switch in accordance with: Stop lamp switch, replacing See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair.

Removal

Removing the steering column from the lower steering shaft joint

Fold the floor carpet out of the way.
Bend up the outer section of the steering shaft boot.
Remove the retaining clip around the boot.
Pull the boot up.

Remove:

-

the screw for the steering wheel shaft's mounting in the joint, 1 pc.

-

the joint from the steering shaft.

Note! Remove the ignition key so that the steering wheel lock is activated.
