Power Seat Control Module: Service and Repair

Power seat module (PSM), replacing

Removal

Removing the power seat module (PSM)

Raise the seat to its highest position.

Lift the seat out of the vehicle. See: Front seat, replacing See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat, Driver's
Seat, Front Seat/Front Seat, Replacing.

Remove the key. The key must be removed to ensure that the ignition is not switched on by mistake.
Wait one minute before starting work.
Remove the 2 screws.
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the control module.

Installation

Installing the power seat module (PSM)

Install:

the control module

-

the connector

-

the 2 screws. Tighten

the key

the front seat as described in Front seat, replacing See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat, Driver's
Seat, Front Seat/Front Seat, Replacing.
