Removing components

Remove:

-

the ground strip between the cylinder head and the engine

-

the upper engine coolant hose between the engine and radiator

-

the solenoid valve (turbocharger (TC) control system) from the air cleaner (ACL)

-

the air cleaner (ACL) intake from the connection on the front cover plate

-

air cleaner (ACL) assembly

-

torque rod for cross stay

-

the upper timing cover

-

the cover over the ignition coils

-

the front timing cover. See See: Timing Components/Timing Cover/Service and Repair

Relieve the load from the belt tensioner. Remove the auxiliaries belt.

Depressurizing the fuel system
