Install:

the supplemental restraint system module (SRS)

the 3 x M6 screws and tighten
-
the connector.

the boot
-
the center console. See Center console, replacing See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair.
Final check
Order the software in accordance with: See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Software Downloading.
Program the new supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
Applies to MY 2005-
After downloading and configuring the control module the control module receives the vehicle configuration data from the central electronic module
(CEM). This can take up to 15 seconds and during this time the SRS lamp flashes in the Driver information module (DIM). Downloading and
configuration is complete when the SRS lamp stops flashing.
