Read and print the extended DTC information. Clear all DTCs. Put the TCM into 'Test Mode'. Drive the vehicle for about 10 minutes at 20-30 MPH. If
DTC 0053 returns, replace the Lock-Up Solenoid (PN 30681205) according to the procedure in VADIS.
If DTC 0053 does not return, follow the fault tracing in VADIS.
NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove the transmission oil pump to replace the solenoid as the VADIS procedure indicates.
