Remove:

the 3 rivets. See Removing rivet

the 1 nut at the top of the lift mechanism.
Work out the lift mechanism.
Installing the lift mechanism for the rear side door
Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications See: Body and Frame/Specifications.
Install:
-
the lift mechanism
-
1 M6 nut. Tighten
-
the 3 rivets for the lift mechanism
-
the connector for the lift mechanism motor.
Lower the window.
Install:

the 2 rivets securing the window to the lift mechanism

the loudspeakers. See Loudspeaker, rear side door, replacing See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact

the run-off profile

Initializing the window position
After replacing the lift mechanism, the window position must be initialized.
Ignition on.
Initialize the window position.
