Installing the silencer

Note! For tightening torques, see: See: Engine/Specifications/Mechanical Specifications/Tightening Torque

Note! To ensure that there is no exhaust leakage, see: Flanged joint, assembling See: Exhaust Pipe/Service and Repair/Flanged Joint,
Assembling.

Applies only to first-time replacement.

Install:

-

a new gasket

-

the front silencer

-

the 2 x M8 nuts for the flange gasket

-

the bracket to the rubber mounting

-

the 2 x M8 screws for the bracket

-

the rear muffler

-

the rubber mountings, x4

-

the M10 nut for the clamp between the front and rear mufflers.

Applies to later replacements.

Install:

-

a new gasket

-

the front muffler

-

the 2 x M8 nuts for the flange gasket

-

the bracket to the rubber mounting

-

the 2 x M8 screws for the bracket

-

the rubber mounting

-

the M10 nut for the clamp between the front and rear mufflers.
