Remove the hose clamps. Remove the oil cooler.

6.

Install the oil cooler

Install the hoses and clamps.

Remove the tape from the oil sump.

Install:

-

the oil cooler. Use the new 0-ring that comes with the new oil cooler

-

the 4 x screws. Tighten to 9 Nm

-

the screw to the oil level sensor's cable. Tighten to 11 Nm.

7.

Filling with coolant

Use coolant filler 951 2957 and Adapter Cap 951 2952.

Follow the equipment instructions.

Caution! 

Use the filling equipment. Manual filling leaves air pockets behind in the system.

Follow-up work

Start the engine and run to normal operating temperature.

Check for leakage. Check the function. Check the oil and coolant level. Top-up if necessary.

Install:

-

lower engine cover

-

the 6 x screws. Tighten to 24 Nm

-

the protective plate

-

the 6 x screws. Tighten to 50 Nm.
