Exhaust Camshaft Position Sensor, Replacing

Exhaust camshaft position sensor, replacing

Removal of position sensor, cylinder 1, 3, 5 and 7 (bank 1) 

Lift the upper coolant hose out of its mounting and bend it aside.

Remove:

-

the connector from the position sensor

-

the 1 M6 screw

-

the position sensor.

Installation of position sensor, cylinder 1, 3, 5 and 7 (bank 1) 

Note! For tightening torques, see: Tightening torque, B8444S See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Specifications/Mechanical
Specifications/Tightening Torque.

Install:

-

the position sensor; tighten the screw

-

the connector for the position sensor

-

the upper coolant hose in its mounting.
