XC90 FWD L6-3.2L VIN 98 B6324S (2007)
Note! When lifting the engine make sure that the lifting eye does not scratch the torque rod. Tape the torque rod and keep it away from the eye.
Remove:

the oil filler cap
-
the upper front engine casing by pulling it straight up.
Install:
-
the oil filler cap

the lifting tool: 999 5716 Reading off tool See: Tools and Equipment/999 5716 Reading off Tool converted with the kit: 999 7070 Mounting See:
Tools and Equipment/999 7070 Mounting and lifting hooks: 999 5460 Lifting hook See: Tools and Equipment/999 5460 Lifting Hook. Lift up the
engine slightly so that the engine pads are unloaded.
Removing the wing liner
Remove:
-
the plastic nuts, x2
-
the wing liner.
Removing the bolts to the right-hand engine pad
