XC90 FWD L6-3.2L VIN 98 B6324S (2007)
Place a collection container under the steering gear.
Remove:
-
the pipes' bolt on the valve housing
-
the pipe.
Installation
Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications See: Specifications/Mechanical Specifications/Steering.
Installing the return pipe
Note! Use a new O-ring.
Install:
-
the hose with the clamp to the oil reservoir
-
the oil reservoir
-
the pipe in the clip and the clamp on the engine cooling fan (FC)
-
the pipe in the clips on the subframe
-
the pipe in the valve housing
-
the pipes' bolt, M8, on the valve housing.
Installing the subframe
Install the sub-frame. See: Sub-frame front, replacing, B6324S See: Body and Frame/Frame/Subframe/Front Subframe/Service and Repair.
Fitting the lower bolt to the rear engine pad
Hint: Unscrew the upper nut in order to facilitate fitting the lower bolt.
Install:
-
the lower bolt to the engine pad, M10, x1
-
the 2 x heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) connectors on the subframe. Reinstall the protective plate under the steering gear.
