Lambda Sensor: Description and Operation
This sensor's input value represents the continuous makeup of the air-fuel mixture at all heat ranges. Unlike the unheated lambda sensor, it prevents
extreme deviation from an optimum makeup of the exhaust gas mixture at all temperatures. To accomplished this, a heating element is mounted inside
the sensor allowing the ceramic body to remain above the function limit of 662°F (350°C) ensuring a quicker sensor reaction time.
