Heater-Evaporator Unit Replacement

Evaporator Removal and Installation

1. Recover the refrigerant with a recovery/recycling/charging station.

2. Disconnect the suction (A) and the receiver (B) lines from the evaporator. Plug or cap the lines immediately after disconnecting them to avoid

moisture and dust contamination.

3. Remove the glove box and the glove box cover.

4. Remove the wire harness connectors (A) from the evaporator. Disconnect the connector (B) from the evaporator temperature sensor.
