9. Pack the outboard joint (A) with the joint grease included in the new joint boot set.
Grease quantity
Outboard joint (Rubber): 130 - 140 grams (4.6 - 4.9 ounces)
Outboard joint (TPE): 140 - 150 grams (4.9 - 5.3 ounces)
10. Install the boot bands.

For rubber type boot, go to step 11.

For TPE type boot, go to step 21.
11. Fit the boot (A) ends onto the driveshaft (B) and outboard joint.
12. Set the new double loop band (A) onto the boot.
13. Pull up the slack in the band by hand.
