SYMPTOM
One or more of the following:
Group one -
[NEW]

The driver's seat intermittently stops before reaching the forward position,
[NEW]
^
The driver's seat intermittently stops before returning to its original position.
[NEW]
^
The driver's seat does not move smoothly when moving in either direction.
[NEW]
^
The "anti-trap" feature stops the seat even though nothing is obstructing it.
Group two -
^
The driver's seat does not move forward when the seat-back lever is released.
^
The driver's seat does not move back to its original position when the seat-back is returned to the upright position.
PROBABLE CAUSES
[NEW]
^
Grease has contaminated the forward and/or reverse motors.
^
Electrical noise generated by the seat motors is affecting the seat control unit.
CORRECTIVE ACTION [NEW]
Up to VIN 19UYA22... VL004392
Replace the seat base assembly if an updated control unit has not been installed already or replace the seat base subassembly if an updated control unit
has been installed (see REPAIR PROCEDURE A).

Check for loose or damaged connectors or replace the seat base subassembly (perform REPAIR PROCEDURE B).
