Backup Lamp Switch: Service and Repair

TEST

1. Disconnect the connectors.
2. Check for continuity between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals.

There should be continuity with the shift lever in reverse.

There should be no continuity with the shift lever in any other position but reverse.

3. If necessary, replace the back-up light switch and washer.
