4. Measure the resistance between the No. 1 and No.2 terminals at E (EMPTY), 1/2 (HALF FULL) and F (FULL) by moving the float.
If you do not get the above readings, replace the fuel gauge sending unit.
NOTE: Use a new gasket when reassembling.
