REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

Lower the window halfway.

2.

Move the window in and out to check the guide-pin-to-rear-channel-guide clearance. There should be minimal window movement.

If the clearance is excessive, go to step 3.

-

If the clearance is OK, go to step 9.

3.

Lower the window fully.

4.

Insert the sash guide adjuster into the lower half of the rear channel guide, then hit the adjuster with a hammer to adjust the channel guide.

5.

Raise the window halfway.

6.

Recheck the guide-pin-to-rear-channel-guide clearance.

If the clearance is OK, go to step 9.

If the clearance is too tight and the window does not operate smoothly, go to step 7.

7.

Lower the window fully, then carefully spread open the sheet metal of the channel guide with a large, flat-tip screwdriver. Place a shop towel at the
