Drive Belt: Service and Repair
1. Check that the pointer on the auto-tensioner housing is not beyond the edge of the indicator rib on the tensioner base. If it is, the belt is stretched
beyond its limit, replace it.
2. Move the auto-tensioner to relieve tension from the alternator belt, and remove the alternator belt.
3. Install the new belt in the reverse order of removal.
