Trunk / Liftgate Latch: Testing and Inspection
Trunk Lid Opener Solenoid/Latch Switch Test
1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Disconnect the 6P connector from the trunk latch.
3. Check opener solenoid operation by connecting power to No.3 terminal and grounding to No.4 terminal momentarily.
The opener solenoid should run.
4. Check for continuity between the terminals. There should be continuity between the No.2 and No.6 terminals when the trunk lid is opened.
