Trunk / Liftgate Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
Trunk Lid Opener Solenoid/Latch Switch Test
1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Disconnect the 6P connector from the trunk latch.
3. Check opener solenoid operation and latch switch continuity.

Connect power to No. 3 terminal and ground to No. 4 terminal momentarily. The opener solenoid should operate.

There should be continuity between the No. 2 and No. 6 terminals when the trunk lid is opened.
4. If the opener solenoid does not operate or the continuity is not specified, replace the trunk lid opener solenoid/latch switch.
