Sunroof/Moonroof Cable: Service and Repair
Drain Channel Slider and Cable Assembly Replacement
1. Remove the frame.
2. Remove these items from the frame:

Sunshade
-
Moonroof Motor
3. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Remove the screws (A, B), then remove the slide stops (C) and cable tube rear brackets (D) from both sides of
the frame (E). Remove the cable tube side bracket mounting bolts (F) and the cable tube mounting screws (G) from both sides of the frame.
4. While pushing down on the hook (H), slide the drain channel sliders (I) back on both sides.
5. Turn both cable tube side brackets (J) up, and remove the drain channel sliders.
6. Pivot the glass bracket (A) down by sliding the link lifter (B) back, then slide both glass brackets back with the link lifter.
7. Slide the cable assembly (C) and both glass brackets back, then remove them from the frame (D).
