Power Seat Switch: Description and Operation
How the Circuit Works
Power Seat Recline Limit Switch
The power seat recline switch consists of two switches. One of the switches detects the position, and the power seat control unit makes the seat move
forward by sending power to the power seat slide motor. Another switch detects the position, and the power seat control unit sends power to the power
seat slide motor.
When you push one of the position buttons, the driving position memory switch commands the power seat control unit and the power mirror control unit
to retrieve the corresponding power seat and outside mirror positions. This function is disabled at speeds above 6 mph (10 km/h).
