Low Fuel Lamp/Indicator: Testing and Inspection
Low Fuel Indicator Light Test
1. Do the fuel gauge sending unit test.

If the system is OK, go to step 2.

If the system has any malfunction, repair it.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II) with the float at E (EMPTY) position.

If the low fuel indicator light is on, go to step 3.

If the low fuel indicator light is not on, refer to the low fuel indicator Circuit Diagram and check the circuit.
3. Lift the float above LOW position.

If the low fuel indicator light goes off, the system is OK.

If the low fuel indicator light is still on, refer to the low fuel indicator Circuit Diagram and check the circuit.
