5. Reconnect the 6P connectors.
6. Make sure the BRAKE LAMP light in the safety indicator comes on and goes off when the No. 3 terminal of the 6P connector is grounded, the
brake pedal is depressed, and the ignition switch is turned from OFF to ON (II).

If the BRAKE LAMP light in the safety indicator comes on and stays on, check for:

Faulty sensor.

Incorrect brake light bulbs or installation of brake light bulbs.

If the BRAKE LAMP light goes off, check for:

A poor ground (G 601).
-
An open in the WHT/GRN or BLK wire.
