BACKGROUND
*Some vehicles that received a remanufactured transmission also need a new PCM to improve the performance and durability of the transmission. In
addition, to complete the repair on certain 2000 3.2TLs and 2001 3.2CLs, a new fuel pressure regulator is needed.*
CLIENT NOTIFICATION
*All owners of affected vehicles were sent a notification of this update in September 2003.
NOTE:
The offer to repair these vehicles free of charge expired in September 2004. Any repairs on these vehicles now would have to be under goodwill or
customer-pay.*
