Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Service and Repair
When installing a new crankshaft and/or new pulley bolt:
1. Tighten the pulley bolt to 196 Nm (145 ft. lbs.).
2. Loosen the bolt.
3. Retighten it to 177 Nm (130 ft. lbs.).
NOTE: When installing the bolt, lubricate the threads and flange with engine oil, but don't lubricate the washer and pulley.
