NOTE: Replace the bearing with a new one after removal.
REPLACEMENT (AFTER STEERING KNUCKLE IS REMOVED)
1. Separate the front hub from the steering knuckle using the special tools and a press as shown. Refer to Steering and Suspension. See:
Steering/Front Steering Knuckle/Service and Repair
CAUTION:
-
Take care not to distort the splash guard.
-
Hold onto the hub to keep it from falling when pressed clear.
2. Remove the circlip and the splash guard from the steering knuckle.
