Oxygen Sensor/Wiring - MIL ON/DTC P0132 Set

MIL Comes On With DTC P0132

SYMPTOM

The MIL is on, and DTC P0132 [primary heated oxygen sensor circuit high voltage (sensor 1)] is set.

PROBABLE CAUSE

Moisture intrusion causes corrosion of the engine wire harness and the primary heated oxygen sensor (H02S). This corrosion affects the sensor's output
voltage to the ECM/PCM.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Replace the engine wire harness and the primary H025. Secure the sensor connector pigtail to the wire harness to prevent moisture intrusion.
