Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

The in-car temperature sensor assembly includes a small fan (aspirator fan) to draw air past the sensor.

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the console. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair

2. Remove the mounting screws (3) and remove the in-car sensor assembly.

NOTE:  Be careful not to damage the center console.

INSTALLATION 

Install the in-car temperature sensor assembly in the reverse order of removal.
