Fuel Pressure Control Solenoid: Description and Operation

    When coolant temperature exceeds 221°F, or when intake air temperature exceeds 176°F, the pressure regulator cut-off solenoid valve cuts off
vacuum to the pressure regulator. This action ensures high fuel pressure to the injectors, thereby helping to prevent fuel system vapor lock from
occurring.
