Resonator: Description and Operation
System Description
The resonator control system decreases air intake noise.
Operation
When the engine speed is below 3,800 rpm, the ECU supplies current to the resonator control solenoid valve. This opens the solenoid valve
sending intake manifold vacuum to the resonator diaphragm.
