Buzzing Noise From The Muffler (Supersedes 91-007, dated January 28, 1991)
SYMPTOM
The customer may complain about a buzzing noise that is audible around 2,300 rpm. The noise is similar to a loose heat shield, occurs while accelerating
under a moderate load, and is most noticeable after the muffler warms up.
PROBABLE CAUSE
A loose separator plate inside the muffler.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the muffler, using the procedure on page 9-4 in the Service Manual, with the new muffler listed under PARTS INFORMATION.
