Fuel Shut-off Solenoid: Description and Operation
Fuel Delivery System
Two fuel cut-off valves are employed at the top of the fuel tank to prevent liquid fuel from entering the evaporative control system. If the fuel tank is
over-filled, a fuel/vapor separator allows vapor-only to enter the evaporative recovery line. In the event of a vehicle roll-over, a built-in check-valve seals
the evaporative lines to prevent fuel from entering the evaporative control system.
