Disassembly/Inspection
Disassembly:

1. Compress the damper spring with the spring compressor.

STRUT SPRING COMPRESSOR:
Commercially Available
BRANICK(R) TIN MST-580A or equivalent

NOTE: Follow the manufacturer's instructions.

CAUTION: Do not compress the spring more than necessary to remove the 10 mm self-locking nut.

2. Remove the 10 mm self-locking nut from the damper assembly.
