Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair
On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
1. On models equipped with radio coded theft protection system, refer to Vehicle Damage Warnings for system disarming and arming
procedures.
2. Pry courtesy light controller and TCS switch out of instrument panel cover.
3. Disconnect courtesy light controller and TCS switch electrical connectors, then remove controller and switch.
4. Remove instrument panel lower cover from under steering column.
5. Remove steering column tilt cover, then the upper and lower column covers.
6. Disconnect combination switch electrical connector.
7. Turn steering wheel to gain access to combination switch attaching screws, then remove attaching screws and switch.
8. Reverse procedure to install.

procedures.
10. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
