Drive/Propeller Shaft: Service and Repair
Removal/Installation

1. Raise and support front of vehicle.
2. Drain transaxle fluid into a suitable container.
3. Remove left driveshaft assembly.
4. Remove intermediate shaft bearing support attaching bolts.
5. Lower bearing support and remove intermediate shaft from differential. To prevent damage to differential oil seal, hold intermediate shaft

horizontal until it clears differential.

6. Reverse procedure to install, torque three 8mm bolts to 16 ft. lbs. and one 10mm bolt to 28 ft. lbs.
