Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

1. On models equipped with radio coded theft protection system, refer to Vehicle Damage Warnings for system disarming and arming

procedures.

2. Remove cap nuts and wiper arms. Ensure wiper arms do not touch hood.
3. Using suitable tool, pry off trim clips and remove attaching screws for windshield lower molding, hood seal and air scoop.
4. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector, then remove harness from wiper linkage.
5. Remove wiper linkage attaching bolts, then linkage.
6. Remove wiper motor attaching nut and bolts, then wiper motor.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
