CORRECTIVE ACTION
One of two corrective actions is appropriate, based on whether the water pump safety recall has already been done.
1.
If the vehicle is affected by the water pump safety recall and the repair has not been done, inspect the casting die number on the water pump
housing. If the casting die number is "9," replace the water pump, the timing belt, and the timing belt auto-tensioner.
