Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair
High Mount Brake Light Replacement
Bulb:
1. Open the tailgate.
2. Remove the lid cover (A) from the high mount brake light.
3. Disconnect the 2P connector(s) (B) from the high mount brake light.
HIGH MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT: 21 W x 2
4. Turn the bulb socket (C) 45° counterclockwise to remove it from the housing.
5. Install the new bulb in the reverse order of removal.
Light Assembly:
1. Open the tailgate.
2. Remove the tailgate upper trim.
3. Remove the bulb sockets (A) from the high mount brake light.
4. Remove the two mounting bolts from the high mount brake light (B).
