Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Valve Inspection

NOTE:  Do not adjust the IMRC adjusting screw (C).

1. Check for the clearance (A) between the stop (B) and the screw (C). There should be no clearance.

If there is clearance, check and adjust the IMRC actuator cable.

If still there is still clearance after adjusting the IMRC actuator cable, the linkage may be stuck. Remove the intake manifold, then check the
IMRC valve.
