3. Test-drive the vehicle.

If the creak is gone, return the vehicle to the customer.

If you still hear the creak, but it goes away when you lower the window glass at least 1 mm, continue with step 4.

4. Remove the door panel. (Refer to section 20 of the Service Manual for door panel removal.)

5. Lower the glass halfway. Then, loosen the two glass stop plate nuts, lower the plates 1 mm, retighten the nuts, and reinstall the door panel.

NOTE:

Do not lower the glass more than 1 mm or you may cause a water leak.

[NEW]

6. Test-drive the vehicle to make sure the creak is gone.
